Hundreds of thousands of people continue to queue through London for hours on end to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

She will be known, likely for some time, as the longest reigning monarch in British History.

Due to her influence across the Commonwealth, and the fact her portraits exist on money around the world, she’s been widely credited with having the most famous face in the world.

She was the first monarch to appear on television, sent one of the first ever emails, and has been credited with getting the Royal Family on Youtube.

Beyond those achievements though, there are a plethora of accomplishments behind her.

Sarah Richardson, Professor of Modern British History at the University of Warwick talks us through some of her top achievements as our monarch, and why she’s so dearly loved by the British public.
