Two interviews with Prince Harry will air this weekend ahead of the release of his memoir, Spare, on January 10.

The Duke of Sussex has revealed to journalists Tom Bradby and Anderson Cooper details about his relationship with the Royal Family and what lies ahead for him and his wife, Meghan Markle.

Michael Jermey, ITV director of News and Current Affairs, said: “It is extremely rare for a member of the Royal Family to speak so openly about their experience at the heart of the institution.

“Tom Bradby’s interview with Prince Harry will be a programme that everyone with an informed opinion on the monarchy should want to watch."

How to watch Prince Harry’s ITV interview

ITV journalist Tom Bradby will interview Prince Harry in a 90-minute special titled Harry: The Interview.

In a clip, Harry tells Bradby: “I want a family, not an institution,” and says: “I would like to get my father back, I would like to have my brother back.”

Prince Harry’s interview with Bradby will air on ITV1 at 9pm on January 8. It will also be available to stream on ITVX.

How to watch Prince Harry’s 60 Minutes interview

Broadcast journalist Anderson Cooper interviewed Prince Harry for CBS’s 60 Minutes.

In a clip from the interview, Prince Harry claims that Buckingham Palace has been leaking stories about him and his family to the press, and that’s why he’s chosen to be so public since stepping back from the Royal Family.

He says in the clip: “When we’re being told they can’t put a statement out, but they do it for other members of the family, there becomes a point where silence is betrayal.”

Harry’s 60 Minutes interview will air at midnight GMT on Sunday, January 8, on CBS. CBS is not available in the UK but clips from the interview will likely be uploaded to CBS’s YouTube channel and other social media.

How to watch the Harry and Meghan documentary

The new interviews follow Harry and Meghan’s six-part Netflix documentary, which offered insight into their relationship and the subsequent fallout with the Royal Family.

It became the streaming platform’s biggest documentary to date, recording more than 81 million viewing hours after its debut.

The documentary, titled Harry and Meghan, is available to stream on Netflix.
