David Beckham has posted a sweet tribute to his “beautiful wife” Victoria on her 50th birthday.

The former England captain shared a montage of memories of the pair on Instagram, including clips of the world-famous couple dancing and the former Spice Girl performing.

The short clip begins with footage of her son Brooklyn as a young child wishing her a happy birthday, adding “I love you so much more than the world,” before flicking through photos and videos of Victoria as a child and early clips of the singer.

The Bee Gees’ More Than A Woman plays over behind-the-scenes snippets of Posh Spice followed by clips of the super couple’s wedding and footage of their children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper growing up.

Alongside the post David, 48, wrote: "Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife...

"As you head into this birthday you should look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, achieved and what you have built.

"Posh spice, business woman and of course marrying an England captain.

"But your biggest success are your children, you guide them, love them and teach them...

"They love you beyond words, we all love you so much.

"Have a special day you deserve it all 50 and fit."

The heartfelt message was posted alongside a video comprised of clips showing Victoria through the years.

Replying to the birthday message the singer and fashion designer wrote: “I love you all so much xxxx” with a series of heart emojis.

The power couple marked their 25th wedding anniversary in July.

The Beckham family also took to Instagram to celebrate Victoria’s birthday.

Eldest son Brooklyn shared a childhood picture of his mother on Instagram.

He wrote: “Happy birthday mum xx I love you so much x hope you have the most amazing day.”

Romeo Beckham shared a picture of himself hugging his mother alongside the caption “Happy birthday mum, thank you for everything, hope you have the best day, love you”. Meanwhile, Cruz Beckham posted a picture of Victoria holding his hand when he was a child on his Instagram story to wish her a happy birthday.

To mark her friend's birthday, old band mate Emma Bunton, 48, also known as Baby Spice, uploaded a video to social media that included clips and photos from her and Victoria's time in the Spice Girls.

She said: "Happy birthday @victoriabeckham! 50 and bossing it!

"Your beautiful family are a credit to you and I'm sure you'll be spoilt rotten. We love you to bits."

Ahead of her birthday, Victoria said on Instagram that she felt "so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone" and added that she was grateful for the "unconditional love and support" of husband David.

In 2023 the couples' life was explored in a four-part Netflix documentary series, which also addressed David's rise to fame as a footballer and the speculation that he allegedly had an affair while he was playing for Real Madrid in 2003.
